Georgia Strawberry Festival
Georgia Strawberry Festival: Fun for the Family
What is the Georgia Strawberry Festival? It is a group of people working together to bring a wonderful event to celebrate hometown values in beautiful downtown Reynolds. Additionally the Georgia Strawberry Festival provides an opportunity for local fund raising, and it all works together to promote community involvement in a family atmosphere. There are great volunteers, great vendors, a variety of foods, wonderful entertainment, and loyal sponsors, and it takes them all working together to bring the event to life.
Is there something for every age to enjoy? Absolutely! There are some extra fun things for the youth to do this year, such as:
Kids Zone with free Kids Activities(while supplies last) the Bubble Lady, train rides, face painting, candy snack truck, helicopter ride ($30 per person).
All ages can pick from events on Saturday which include:
5-K run, parade, strawberry market, fire truck pull, weenie dog race, live entertainment, berry ball games, photography contest, old book sale, boutiques, arts and crafts, vintage tractors, and lots of good food.
What is the cost? There is no festival entrance fee and parking is free, entertainment is free, good family fun is free, looking is free, fun is free…but all are priceless!
Does this sound like something good? Indeed it is! Plan to attend some or all of the events this month leading up to the festival and then arrive in Reynolds on Saturday, April 24. Plan to come early and spend the day. Events are scheduled at timely intervals throughout the day for everyone’s convenience to attend each event.
